There are two other reasons why our environment has become inundated with estrogen levels never seen before. These are estrogens that will have an effect on Mother Nature no matter how you slice it.
So after already mentioning increases in plastics, petroleum products, microplastics, herbicides, pesticides, glyphosates, the birth control pill, cancer drugs such as LUPRON® and TAMOXIFEN®, let’s look at all the hormones used in cosmetics as well as in animals on feedlots:
For more than half-a-century scientists, ranchers, and farmers have used (mostly estrogenic) hormones in chickens, cows, and pigs to increase yield, weight, and production… in the shortest possible time.
Not only have these estrogens gone into the food they produce, which obviously affects all of us who consume them; but these animals poop and pee where they’re standing, depositing parts of these hormones into our soil and groundwater.
And this has been going on WORLD-WIDE… especially in the developed nations… for 50 years! So we’re talking of trillions of animals, affecting Mother Earth with “dumped” synthetic estrogen residues.
Finally, I like to look at the cosmetics industry.
Estrogens can be found in Hair Products, Anti-Aging Creams, Face Creams, certain UV Sunscreens, Perfumes, and even in Menopause Skincare Products.
Ingredients include Paragons, which can mimic estrogens and disrupt hormone function, Placental Extracts, and also Bio-identical Estrogens and Plant-estrogens that are used to work around FDA guidelines.
All these go both inside the body, and they’re washed off and going into the sink at the end of the day.
